FOR PARENTS & CARERS

Growing at their own pace.

What Eden’s Garden is, how we're approaching accessibility and safety, and what families can expect while the project develops.

Who is Eden’s Garden for?

Children learning through play, including children who benefit from extra time, larger controls, clearer pictures, predictable navigation and gentle encouragement. It is not a medical treatment or a replacement for school or professional support.

What can families use now?

Our browser demo offers simplified games without a sign-in. Eden OS for the iMac remains in development and isn't yet offered as a public download. Mobile and tablet apps are planned, not released.

Accessibility by design

We aim for readable text, consistent navigation, recognisable icons, spoken instructions, accessible controls and flexible pacing. We’re still testing these features; they may not all work in every activity yet.

Safe, supported use

Parent controls, child-friendly browsing and a reliable setup process are on the roadmap. Until those are fully tested, adults should supervise online use and treat the browser preview as an early demonstration.

Family registration and privacy

Our interest form is for adults aged 18 or over. It asks for an email address, an optional name and the types of updates you want. Please do not send children's names, dates of birth, diagnoses or health information. We do not publish registration details or sell them.

Records are held privately on our server, and stale entries are deleted after approximately 12 months. There is not yet an automated mailing list or email-verification system.

Helping us test

We hope to invite a small group of families when a stable baseline is ready. If you have an older computer or laptop, you can register your interest. Registering does not guarantee an invitation or a release date.

Every child deserves a place to grow.

Our goal is affordable, enjoyable learning for children with different needs and circumstances. We’re building and testing carefully, and we’ll be clear about what is available and what is still planned.

Follow the project

What is Eden’s Garden?

It began as a family project: a way to make learning feel playful, predictable and welcoming. Eden OS is a child-friendly computer environment in development, with the companion app intended to reach more families in future.

Learning at each child’s pace

Children can return to familiar stories, numbers, puzzles, creative activities and gentle routines. These tools are designed to support learning and enjoyment, not diagnose, assess or replace teaching or professional support.

A parent's first steps

  1. Explore the difference between Eden OS and Eden App.
  2. Look through the learning activity previews.
  3. Try the currently available browser activities together.
  4. Read the privacy and testing information before registering your interest.
