How we handle information submitted by parents and carers.
Who this page is for
Our interest form is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. Children do not need an account to try the browser demonstration.
What we collect
If you register, we collect your email address, your name if you provide it, your selected interests and the time you consented. Please do not submit a child’s name, age, medical condition, diagnosis, school or other sensitive information.
Why we collect it
We use these details to keep a record of parents and carers who want project updates, early testing information or news about future apps. This is an interest list, not a working email newsletter. We are not yet sending automated emails.
Where it is kept
Registrations are stored in a private database on the Eden’s Garden website server, separate from the public pages. We do not sell registration data or publish it on the website.
Retention
Our intention is to review and remove stale registrations after approximately 12 months. Automated deletion has not yet been verified, so please use the withdrawal option if you want your registration removed sooner. You can ask to withdraw at any time. The form offers withdrawal using your email address and the private withdrawal code shown at registration. Email verification and automatic code recovery are not yet available.
Security and limitations
We limit the data collected and use basic request checks. No internet service can guarantee perfect security. The interest form does not verify email ownership, so submissions are unconfirmed and should not be treated as mailing-list subscriptions.
Children and consent
The family interest form is for adults, not children. Please do not include a child’s personal or health information in registration or feedback. No mailing campaign will be sent to the unverified interest list without an appropriate confirmation and consent process.
Your choices
To withdraw, visit Join families and open “Want to withdraw your interest?” and enter your private withdrawal code. We are developing a more robust verification process before sending updates.
